PrepNow Tutor - Michael B.
Michael received his bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati. Following graduation, he began teaching Spanish at both the high school and college levels. After working in classroom settings, Michael discovered he prefers working with students one-on-one. He has been working as a professional tutor ever since, accumulating nearly two decades of tutoring experience. Michael says, “The most important thing for a tutor is flexibility. Classroom teaching can’t be customized for each individual student, but with one-on-one tutoring, I can customize the program and my teaching style to best fit each student.”
As an academic tutor, Michael has worked with students on Spanish, math, English, sciences, and social sciences. As a test prep tutor, he works with students preparing for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. During his seven-year tenure with StudyPoint, PrepNow's sister company, Michael has completed more than 1,000 hours of tutoring.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He loves football and is an avid Cleveland sports fan, with season tickets for the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He and his family have a cat named Max.
