Ernaisja genuinely feels that she is “living her best life.” Part of her joy comes from her acting and performance career. She holds a BFA in theatre from Adelphi University and an acting certificate from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. With this training, Ernaisja is actively pursuing a career in theatre, film, and television. In these arenas, she has always been drawn to instruct others, so she specializes in coaching auditions for young performers, directing and choreographing children's shows, and teaching acting and dance classes for students in grades K-12. Such pursuits have also spurred her to undertake more generalized instruction, and she brings years of prior test-prep experience to StudyPoint.
As one might expect of a theater and acting student, Ernaisja values hard work and collaboration above all. Thus, she says, “In my tutoring sessions, students can expect a high level of positivity, enthusiasm, and pop culture references—all bolstered by collaboration, confidence boosting, and diligence.” First, she believes, her job is to get to know each student thoroughly and formulate a personalized action plan for each of them. As she does so, she models the enthusiasm, creativity, and empathy that she encourages her students to develop. Then, once rapport and confidence are established, she uses her coaching and mentoring skills to lead students to their own virtuoso performances.
Ernaisja’s “best life” is joyous and various, so her excitement extends past the stage and the classroom. First, she has a love of many things“B,” including boy bands, birthdays, brunch, and books. Next, she loves to travel, having zip-lined through the jungles of Thailand and visited four of the six Disney theme-park destinations. Finally, often related to finding keepsakes or souvenirs from the places to which she travels, Ernaisja has begun to curate an impressive array of mugs, magnets, and pins from across the globe.
